Phi Phi Islands Information
Phi Phi Island are amongst some of the most beautiful islands in the world. Phi Phi Islands welcomes you to breathtaking beaches, stunning rock formations and tranquil turquoise waters teeming with colourful marine life. Phi Phi Islands consist of many smaller islands but the main two are called Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Koh Phi Phi is easily accessible by boat from Ao Nang, Railay, Krabi, Koh Lanta and Phuket.
Phi Phi Don Island is the largest of the Phi Phi islands, and offers some of the most remarkable scenery available anywhere in the world. There are two long beaches next to the main town - the two curving bays of Ton Sai and Loh Dalam which can be seen from the famous Phi Phi viewpoint pictures.
Phi Phi Leh is second largest of the Phi Phi Island chain, Phi Phi Leh is extremely beautiful, and pristine with pristine waters and colorful vibrate marine life. The island is entirely limestone and steep cliffs rising from the sea, surrounded by waters average 20 – 34 meters deep which makes for perfect snorkeling adventures. Phi Phi Leh has several beautiful bays: Pileh Bay (Ao Pileh), Maya Bay, and Loh Samah. Maya Bay is most famous of all the Phi Phi islands as it was the setting for the movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo Di Caprio. Other popular parts of the Phi Phi Islands group are; Koh Phai (Bamboo Island), Monkey Beach and Koh Khai Nok, Bida Nok (Koh Bida) and Bida Nai.
